What does baby lie in in a bugaboo cameleon bassinet?

I have my first baby coming in May and am ordering a bugaboo cameleon for it.

Probably a stupid question but what do I lie it in when it's a newborn? Just in a jacket and lie it down? Under a blanket? In a grobag? I've seen pram sheets for sale do I need a sheet for this pram? As it's a summer baby I don't want to overheat the baby either!

Apologies for obvious gross parenting ignorance! Anyone with a cameleon or any advice?! Thanks

i would have a removeable fitted pram sheet for the mattress [2 one for the wash and one on] and a light blanket and a thicker blanket depending on weather, always a jacket for cooler days or cardi.

Yes you will need pram sheets, and then you can cover the baby with whatever you like. Cardi, jacket, blanket, muslin etc.

No problem - it is hard when you have your first because you have no idea. By June you will be a seasoned pro :)
