Has anyone seen this in the flesh?! The info online is extremely limited :(

Does it have a shopping basket (as the main photo does not show this)?
Do the seats have footrests at all?
What is the total width of the buggy?
What is the type and diameter of the wheels?
What is the total weight with two seats on?
What re the folded dimensions?
Is the handlebar adjustable? Is it telescopic or tilting type?

Most importantly, does it handle well? Does it veer if there's only one child in it?!

More (esp. actual) photographs and specs on it would be very much appreciated!

Apologies for all the questions, but having taken my BJCS out again today, I have no doubt left we need a different buggy. It was great in the city with tight corners to turn to get to our flat... but it's a totally different story out on the village hills!

Thanks for that! It seems that everywhere I look, it's only the one photo that's given.
Does anyone know whether it has an adjustable handlebar? Also, a photo without the footmuffs on would answer the question on footrests :).

Everyone wants to see a picture without the footmuffs on...It's the Holy Grail!!!

elk4baby · 29/09/2011 20:19

Yes suzie38, that's true. It's funny how a perfectly decent-sounding company (from Ireland, I think) does not post any more pictures or the specs on its own website.... and it's not a cheap buggy.
I wonder if there's a good online shop that offers a no-hassle return policy. Because right now buying this buggy just seems like buying a 'cat in a bag'. Anyone know of such a dealer?!

The Oliver's baby care website says the calf rests are adjustable. The footrest is fixed to the chassis (see the carrycot and car seat pics). I would suggest from the photos that the handle is fixed. Give one of those retailers a call tomorrow and ask.

Hi elk4baby,

Did you eventually buy this? I found this bit cheaper on ebay www.my-baby-needs.co.uk/Baby-Elegance-Beep-Beep-Twin-Travel-System-Black
I liked it by the description, but looking for some feedback before I buy it.

thanks
Manish

Tiggywunkle · 18/10/2011 00:02

I found some photos the other day with the footmuffs off! I saved them to my computer - hmm...let me see if I can find the link..... Yes...here it is :)

I have pondered buying one a few times but the width of 80cms really puts me off.
I opened the box of a TwinGo today and so far its brilliant. You may want to consider importing one or a Stroll Air for similar money.

If anyone is interested I finally decided to go for the Mountain Buggy Duet. It is a clear winner so far in most of criteria sucha as width, features, stability, etc etc... except its a bit expensive.

You can buy it for £725 with two maxi cosi cabriofix car seats incl of adapters at
