Question for owners of Bugaboo Chameleon

Hi
My daughter is 6 weeks old and still very tiny, just 6lb when born. I have a bugaboo Chameleon, which has been great so far but i just have a question about the carrycot.
My daughter sometimes uses the carrycot to nap in the day, and initially I thought this would be great, as when she fell asleep i could just plonk the carrycot on the chassis, thus avoiding using the carseat so much as a pram, and just head out for a walk, with her flat
My issue is is that the matress and wooden bottom make the carrycot quite hard and when she is flat going along, she just rolls around and wakes up.
How did you use the carrycot to wheel your babys around prior to them going into the proper pushchair, did you put anything else in the bottom to avoid the rolling about? It seems a shame because i can hardly use it as i have to go over a gravel path to get out of the house and she just rolls?

I used rolled up blankets down the sides and big folded blanket at the bottom so didnt slide down, to make it more cosy - always kept an eye on them though - or a sleep positioner thing [[http://www.b4bub.com/images/sleeppossi.jpg]
