Narrowed it down to two! Oyster or Strawberry?

I am so torn between the iCandy Strawberry and the babyStyle Oyster!

Any advice which will be better? I'm not due til Feb so hoping Strawberry not delayed any more.

That's a difficult one! Especially since the Strawberry still hasn't arrived.

The Oyster sometimes has issues with the front wheels buckling going down kerbs, which the Strawberry doesn't look like it would do. The back wheels on both are solid so not necessarily the best over rough ground, but you can buy air tyres for the Oyster that make a big difference and only cost about £25. The Strawberry's a tad heavier and wider. The Strawberry is a lot more expensive, but is more luxurious and eye catching.

I think I'd say that if the cost or is important to you or you're likely to use it over rough ground, grass or cobbles, get the Oyster. If you don't mind about the price, you won't use it over rough ground very often and you like having something different, get the Strawberry.

My mum and gran are chipping in for the pram and I'm going to put in the difference so I'm thinking pushchair is my one allowance for a splurge

I just pray the Strawberry is not delayed again!

HI i have the oyster plush Smile google it, its just a tad nicer than the original chrome chassis ( looks like an i candy ), has the air filled tyers and lush padded seat.
Have only been using it for 7 weeks but have not found any probs with it so far x

Nic Does the plush not have issues with the front wheels buckling a bit on kerbs? I have the black chassis oyster and wondered whether they'd changed it on the plush. Annoyingly the plush came out a few weeks after I bought mine, or I definitely would have bought it because it's gorgeous!

Sorry, got distracted there! Blush I think you should wait a while and see if you can get some reviews of the strawberry once it comes out. It does seem like a lot of pushchairs can seem great on paper and from a little play around but you need someone's experience to get a proper idea of what it'll be like.

If you can wait (and there's no wIting list or delay) then wait and see, otherwise get the oyster plush. That's what I'd do.

As an Oyster owner for 18 months I have loved it and thoroughly recommend it. Absolutely no trouble with front wheels. Nice and light and very easy to push, even one handed, and has a lovely tight turning circle. Very comfy for DS and we had the carry-cot as well so he was lovely and flat and cosy for the first few months. Would recommend getting an Oyster of Maxi-Cosi car seat that can clip into the chassis too.

You don't see many Oyster's around, so a bit more exclusive I'd say than iCandy these days, and even a bit cheaper.
