Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has ever ordered online from the above company which sell babyjogger products. Their prices seem quite competitive.

My questions are:

  1. Were you happy with the service?
  2. Was there any procedure in place for if there was a problem or a fault with any of your items?
  3. Did you find more competitive prices elsewhere?

Thanks in advance for your help. I'm looking for a City Elite with carry cot and raincovers etc!

Love them! I've been dealing with Nigel there on and off for nine years or so. He has excellent customer service, competetive prices and only sells fabulous products. Love baby jogger stuff too. We have the summit xc, and a space technology snuggle bag from there.
Highly recommended. X

Thanks so much for the reply. Very good to know.

Now just weighing up if the freebies are worth the extra money.

Anyone have any light to shed?!

For £469.99, I can get a buggy with raincover and carrycot elsewhere.
For £509, I can get a buggy with raincover, carrycot with raincover, a sheet set, a lambskin stroller fleece and shoulder harness, and a lock.

Any advice what I should do?!

depends, do you want a lambskin fleece, prob will be a cheap one and won't the pushchair raincover fit the carrycot which will only be used for what 5 months max and i bet with apron and hood up a rain cover would not really be used, unless really hammering it down and blowing a gale and then you would be running for cover and a lock, i would not leave any of my pushchairs locked or not, even if sighns up telling you to leave here at say doctors or health centres never been made to leave, they won't pay up if pram gets nicked, its your fault for leaving it there, so i don't, with £40 you could buy a nice footmuff.

What colour do you want? There are a few places selling the pushchair for £300, carrycot for £95 and raincover for ~£20. £470 sounds like a lot in comparison but I don't know if that's a newer version.

Boots have it in Red Sport for £349.99, the code SAVE10 takes £10 off and you get £62.82 worth of points if you're in the Parenting Club. Also, if you go through Quidco and you've never bought from Boots online before then you'll get 6% cashback (2.5% otherwise).
Obviously, this is only useful if you like the red and you'd use the points instore.

Thanks for all the replies. I have decided against the package - if I want any of those items, I am sure I'll be able to buy them individually for not much more money.

As for the pricing - thank you so much aswellasyou. I have seen it in a couple of places for £300. Do you know anywhere offhand that has it for £300 and also stocks the hard carrycot for the low price that you stated - that would be a massive saving! Just gone back to my spreadsheet of prices, and I think I should try bambinodirect, parentsupermarket, and bradmore baby store again.

Did you have anywhere specific in mind. Really appreciate your help.

Also, as for Boots....DH said - I don't mind what colour pushchair we get but please not red!! So think that's out unfortunately!

Those three places were ones I'd seen. Apart from those there's;
Stone Sport from Fruugo (like a European version of Amazon if you don't know it)
Black from Nursery Superstore
Bradmore Baby Store and Parent Supermarket were the only places I found that had both the pushchair and carrycot at the cheapest prices. Annoyingly, BBS says the black Elite is available from 31/10. PS says the carrycot is available from 23/09 but that's not long away at all.

Thanks so much for being so helpful....I really appreciate it!

Had never heard of Fruugo! Good to know!!

Thanks again,

I wouldn't buy from Bambino Direct as there are some terrible reviews for them, including some on mumsnet here

If you're not going with nigels offer, which are good value if you want the extras, then boots have great customer service, and the points can be saved for January sales and buy baby clothes in the sales to squeeze every bit of value out of them!
