Recomend me a pram please!

Right looking for a pram for number 3, it's been 7 years since I have had a baby so not up to date with all the new prams out and i'm getting so over-whelmed with all the options out there!

Here is what I want :

Suitable from birth
Carrycot style but adaptable for car seat and toddler seat
One hand fold
Ideally folds pretty flat, like umbrella style
Prefer one's with 2 handles rather than 1
Sounds silly but would prefer it in cream or red if any come in them colours
Want one that has a range of matching items, foot muff etc.
Also a fairly top of the range one by a well known brand

Does anyone have any ideas for me PLEASE!!

I am so clueless it's pathetic :(

Got up to £800 to spend.

M&P Plikio Switch? Does everything you said you would like.

I wouldn't get a Pliko personally because M&P's customer care is appalling. I also ddon't like Them personally but I'm not the one getting it.
This isn't actually that small but it is gorgeous. It is the pushchair of the moment and couldn't be more beatifully made or easy to push.

yep tis lovely and john lewis will be doimg the cosmo version soon which is silver on matt black chassis, they have the grey at the moment. :o i will be getting one very soon :o

Honestly, I would look at the iCandy strawberry, Mountain Buggy Swift, or the Baby Jogger City Mini or Elite. The Strawberry is more of a chunky fold but apart from that they all fit your criteria apart from the two handles. All come in red :o

My DC3 is 9 weeks and I would very much recommend iCandy. I have an iCandy Cherry which is the lightest of the range (previous experience has taught me that the lighter the better!)It folds down so smoothly, has a lovely carrycot, and the buggy element can sit both rear facing and forward facing. If you get a maxi cosi car seat you can get adaptors and it is so easy to shift between car and pram (school runs and preschool runs three times a day have proved this). Avoid M&P like the plague. Prams look pretty, but customer service appalling (DC1). Maclarens fantastic but don't really work the whole pram thing, better for toddlers (DC2). Single handle though which makes it harder to dump all my crap on when out and about though. I have a mulberry coloured one, but they do have a cream version.

Gosh woyuld have recommended al those, but Op has stated she wants two handles not one. Narrows it down by loads as most prams nowadays have just the one, which IMO, is much easier.

ahh your right 5inthebed...sorry,im rubbish at finding two handled,i avoid them like the plague!

Zapp and the Orbit are the only ones i can think of...

Babystyle S3D is a fantastic system but is not the lightest weight although it is sturdy as a rock!

S3D chassis - Available in Titanium, white or Black

The Silver Cross 3D probably fits your requirements. There have been some deals recently that give you the car seat free-I don't know if they're still on. This is a good deal and the Ventura Plus fits on it. That's a lot cheaper than your budget though at £330 for the system.

what about a p&t smart with the peanut, although i think going for two handles you are missing out on some lovely prams, if you dont mind me asking why do you prefer two handles.

The M&P one has reviews saying's it hard to steer so ruling that one out.

Not a fan of the Mima one at all, looks to space like lol.

Loving the Icandy one's so will have a good look at their website in a minute.

Absolutely LOVE the Babystyle S3D, think thats my fave so far.

Can I ask why people don't like 2 handled prams?
When my previous children were babies a long time ago it was best to go with a 2 handled pram as they were easier to steer and fold a lot smaller.

I don't drive so need a pram that can easilly fold small into a taxi, variety of friends boots and also the bus / train. I thought a 2 handled one would be better as they tend to fold like a buggy?

Just looked at the Graco Fusio as suggested and that looks good as well, love that it is in black and red :)

Also it looks like the carrycot part is the main seat led flat which is handy as no extra pram parts to store once little one grows out of it.

Does the P&T Smart only have 2 wheels? Very strange!

Ahh...No that's an earlier model...They have 4 wheels now.

you can not push them one handed and in my experiance they are easier to push, steer and get up kerbs, i have had the m&p switch and pramette, loola, zapp, loads of forward facing buggys and i still prefer a single handle.

one handle prams are much more better now. 2 handles really only for strollers.

Icandy ones are lovely, I had the Apple and loved it.

Babystle ones are nice, the fabrics are lovely. I like the [http://www.babystyle.co.uk/Oyster.html Oyster]] and would probably have bought one had Ds3 been due a year later.

The one/two handle thing is obviously personal preference depending on how you use the pushchair. However, the umbrella fold prams tend to be really long. I used to have a Pliko Pramette but it was so long folded that the handle kept getting scratched trying to squash it into the car boot.

I tried a Fusio in Babies r'us because i really wanted one...It felt like lead to push without anything in the seat.

Needs to be easy to push as will be walking most places.

Any other suggestions?

Happy to look at one handled ones as well now as long as all other things are there.

So far we think we are going to go for the Babystyle one.

In terms of pushing, look out for decent wheel size. Air tyres or foam are easier to push as well. I'll have more of a think.
