Hi, is this pushchair pretty light and easy for travelling with? (Taking through an airport, putting on to the plane). I'll be on my own, carrying it and the baby and bags at points...

Thanks

If it's for a newborn, it'll be one of the lightest options. I have an XT. It's very practical for bus, tube and train. It's around 8 kgs all in. I carry it up 2 flights of stairs every day. The problem is the basket is absolute rubbish, so it's not going to help you much with carrying your stuff. The basket is not very big and it's impossible to access if the baby is lying flat.

If I were taking XT on my own at the airport, I'd probably manage ok with baby, backpack and maybe small bag. It would be pushing it though. I'd probably use a carrier instead of (or in addition to) the XT. If you're going to be doing a lot of airport travel, do look into a second-hand pushchair and don't use your main one. It can get a lot of wear and tear.

If the baby is older than 6 months, I'd get a cheap, light umbrella pushchair.

have taken our xt long haul to the States and various short haul. It's great, is light enough for me to manage on my own, goes flat for sleeping in and has excellent sun cover. If something happened to mine I would def buy another.

yes. but it's not cheap and will get battered around.
