I saw this in the shop last week, and think it may well be my perfect pushchair for my holidays, sounds daft, but I struggle walking long distances and in order to avoid a walking stick, I am going with the option of a large weighty pushchair to lean on! we are camping and have a box trailer so size/weight isnt a problem for us. Also have a vast tent to store it in, and no problem with space in the boot.
I also liked the huge basket, big seat and large hood, great for the endless stuff we take to the beach.
I noticed while I was looking at it that the toddler seat comes off, leaving what looked like a ride on step underneath, complete with grips for standing on, but when I asked the staff, they said it was a support for the basket! there was no basket on the pushchair, but apparently the back support for the seat is also the back support of the basket?
Can anyone tell me if this is correct as I'm afraid the staff in the shop were clueless so I gave up asking them questions as they had to go off for 5 minutes to get the answer every time!

Hi, yes I have one! You unzip the toddler seat part from the basket which then leaves the big basket. There is a step bit on it which you could stand a toddler on but only really if you unzip the whole basket part and they stood underneath the handle, I have never done this. It is a really good pushchair - I am selling mine purely because of the size and needing to put it in and out of the car a lot. Hood is really good, covers loads, lies back well and the handbrake on the handle part is brill for going downhill etc!
Are you looking to buy one new?

no, I want to buy second hand and as inexpensive as possible as I will be selling again at the end of the summer so dont want to loose too much money! they are £299 new in the M&P factory shop near us, so I could afford a new one, but wouldnt get anything like my money back from what I have seen them sell for on ebay.
DD is out of pushchairs mostly (almost 5 now) so I'm only buying for days out/holiday this summer when I know I will struggle with walking all day and also need the convenience of somewhere to pile all the child associated junk needed on a day out (hats, suncream, spare clothes, snacks, drinks, camera, first aid kit -mother of 2 walking disaster zones here) and somewhere for DD to sit when she gets tired, usually about 5 minutes after we get there!. She was still napping a good 2 hours when were were on holiday last year as she just got tired out with all the excitement, and after DS spent most of our time last year in Disney on the buggy board which killed my back as I had to hunch over him, I thought a buggy with a ride on step would be ideal. the main seat looked enormous on the T2, and had plenty of leg room, something which is lacking on most pushchairs.
I looked at it folded, and it is a beast, but if I take the wheels off, it looked quite flat, and I will have DH to lift in and out of the car. I dont think I would have it as a main pushchair if I was using daily, but for a few days out, I'll overlook the size/weight in favour of its other useful features!
