i have heard mixed reviews of the phil and teds... it seems to be a love hate thing. are there any other doubles that I could take on a bus?

does anyone have the jane powertwin all terrain or the icandy peach?

The Jane is too big for the bus and I thought it felt a bit unstable given that all the weight is pivoted on a single wheel at the front when turned...

Don't know about the Icandy Peach but have seen the Cherry/Apple and the seat units seemed very small to me.

The city select looks good as does the Bebecar Vector duo.

If you are on a tight budget the Graco stadium is good value for a basic, I have sen this on a bus.

The mountain buggy side by side is not much wider thana single AFAIK.

the new britax duel one gets good reviews, theres a hauck one similar now too on kiddicare,

the bebecar is pretty long,as is the powertwin and the graco.

i nearly bought a powertwin, but if your older child is quite heavy it has a tendancy to tip,so i went for the graco instead.
the graco is cheap and cheerful,VERY good value for money,i really liked mine, but my oldest was a little 20mo when i had my baby, but i found mine lovely to push, and i used the carseat on the rear most of the time :)

i have also had 2 phil and teds and loved them :)

heres the hauck one clicky

the hauck one looks good but you can only use it with a newborn+toddler if you have the baby in a carseat... that means the pram bit can only be used if you only have 1 child... Shame..

Meant to add, we got a Bruin tandem- think it was called Go Go or something, there are loads of versions though, it's umbrella fold. Front seat doesn't recline but was perfect for our kids at the time... I replaced P&T with it - much better and fits on a bus easily :)
