Hi All,

I have recently read a couple of reviews that have suggested that some people have used a soft cocoon such as teh Petite Star Zia Cocoon for use with the BJCM Double.

Have any of you use this combination, if so how secure was the cocoon? I know the BJ are launching a new model of the CM for use with a carrycot in May but I am trying to keep my options open.

Also this pram is recommended from Birth, have any of you actually used this pram with a newborn, how did you find it?

Thanks, Kerri

Hello, I can't be of any help to you Kerri but would love to know the answer to your questions too! Hope someone can help.
Thanks

I know some people have done it with the single but I would'nt, there is no foot rest to hold it in place and the straps can only tolerate so much pull as they are not designed for this, so it would only take an unexpected bump for the cot to fall out.

Was it American reviews?

I only ask because the new 2011 model has the option of a soft cot that secures to the seat so it could be this you have been reading about.

So unless you get the 2011 one (not sure when it is available I would not try.

Thanks for your response.

It was UK people who had put it on the double but had not mentioned how they had secured it into the pram.

I am suspecting that it was just wedged in and hoped for the best, not a risk I will be taking!!

Thanks again, Kerri x
