BJCM handles too high for me what else?

Was very excited when my BJCM arrived yesterday after reading the reviews and getting it for a good price at Boots, but it's just not for me Sad.

I know I should have gone to a shop and tried it out but really thought this stroller was what i was looking for.

I'm only 5 foot and because the handles aren't adjustable it really is too high for me.

With DS2 I had a maclaren which I did like but was looking for something different this time. Any recommendations (and this time I'll make sure I try before I buy Blush.

TIA

I've also made a couple of mistakes recently buying buggies blind...Sold the B Smart straight on and now have to do the same with the Maxi Cosi Mila...I checked out my new Uppababy Vista first as it was big money but still not convinced it's the pushchair of my dreams...I'd love a BJCM at some point especially the purple 2011 model but i'm 5'2" so think the handle would be too high for me...Shamed they didn't make the handle adjustable on the 2011 model.

Hiya I am 5ft 3 and thought the BJCM handle was high to start but after a while I preffered it to lower ones, but I don't like low handles either (fussy moo :o) I absolutely adored my BJCM and would buy it time and time again if I had to choose!

We have all made mistakes with pushchairs so would'nt worry there is no right one for you. I tried out a Jane Energy in the shop and thought it was great, about 9 months later it got chucked in a skip because it was annoying me so much!

Is it just a lightweight stroller you are looking for?

The M&P Luna is quite good and not bulky, obviously the fold is not as good but on the whole it is good and it also has an adjustable handle.

Luna definately has adjustable handle, is customizable with liners and 3 or 4 wheels and compact open and folded.

Petite star Zia is a small pushchair and the handles are pretty low down.

Also available in 3/4 wheels.

I'll have a look at the petite star zia which I do like the look off.

The reason I liked the BJCM is because of the huge hood and the quick folding mechanism so was looking for something which matched this.

The only thing which is putting me off the Luna is buying from M&P Blush. I currently hava a M&P Rubix which M&P finally gave me as a replacement for my Herbie which I had no end of problems with. I'm just not very impressed with M&P customer services so am reluctant to give them my custom again.

Hiya nappydaysagain,

I was wondering if the BJCM that you bought (and returned) was the 2011 version? Apparently, it would have had a sticker on the box saying it is..also which colour did you get?

Boots have told me that it is but the guy didn't sound too sure.

I'm sure I've read somewhere that the 2011 one is coming out in spring...or is that just the purple one?

Thanks!!

I don't think it was the 2011 one, it didn't say so on the box. It was the black one that I ordered.
