how to stop baby sliding around in pram?

This may well be a silly question - I'm expecting my first baby and have the mothercare my choice pram. When it's in pram mode, the instructions say not to strap the baby in. I'm just wondering whether the baby will slide around in the pram (e.g. when I push it up / down hills). And if so, what do people do to prevent this? Is it just a case of making the baby cosy with blankets around it?

Cheers!

Hi there. I must admit I didn't think about this before but never had any problems. Once baby is in the pram and wrapped up there won't be any slippy surface and they'll stay in place just fine!

no, the baby won't go anywhere (unless you've put satin sheets in it Grin)

baby will be tucked up in blankets and will not move

Just be careful how vigourously you push it!
It can happen if a lot of steps up/down are involvedBlush.

I had a very steep step outside of my gate, i always rested a hand on DD when we went up the step to stop her slipping down.
