I have both, an explorer and a BJCM. I prefer to push the explorer due the amount of walking and terrain i cover.

The BJCM is smaller, easier to handle, lighter, far easier to fold and i like the fact the hood is secured to the rear of the seat. If shopping in town i take this.

I think you'll prefer the BJCM. The only reason i have the explorer is for 2 DC. Plus the BJCM hardly takes up any room in the boot and you can fold it in half and stash it very easily at nursery or in restaurant, etc.

I have both the P&T & BJCM & I have to agree with clara. The babyjogger is far easier to push, folds in a flash & a lot lighter. For me its lucky no. 7 - I love it & think it is the PERFECT pushchair. Go for it!

thanks for your reply clara, silly question but i was also considering a mac xlr,i have the triumph, but its a bit of a bone shaker, has the BJCM a softer ride?

BJCM a much better ride than triumph but can't comment on mac xlr or xt. Sorry. I'm sure someone else can.

I used to have a Maclaren XT - In my opinion the BJCM is a smoother ride. One of the features that I didn't like about the XT was that I needed two hands to lay the seatback down whereas I only need one with the BJ. I also prefer the brakes on the BJ. And of course the suncanopy is one of the best ones I've ever come across - the XT may as well not have one.
