Babystyle Oyster - How much should I look at paying?

I was wondering if any of you bargain hunters could help me. I'm looking for an affordable pram that will last me as long as possible for my first born due in March. I am on a really tight budget but due to my lifestyle and the car I drive I need a pram that will fit with my maxi cosi cabriofix car seat.

The one pram that seems to tick all the right boxes is the Babystyle oyster and it is almost in my price range. A kind friend (of my husband) has offered to buy us our pram on the condition that it is a new one and less than £300. So ebay is out of the question. I'm not sure if she will be somewhat offended if I choose one over that amount and I pay the difference and I don't want to feel like I'm taking advantage of her generous offer either. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find the Babystyle Oyster at a good price with everything I need.

Hi Catherine. I got mine for £370.00 including carry cot, footmuff and changing bag but I was quite lucky that my local shop were selling it off as it was ex display. Any independant shops near you? It could be worth popping in and seeing what they offer.

Other why don't you ask them to buy the main seat unit from somewhere like kiddicare and then get the carrycot & any other accessories you want yourself?. The Pearl one is the cheapest at £237.95 on that site but you can get them all for under £300.00 if you aren't getting the carry cot too.
