Hi

I am pg with DC1 and am trying to convince DH that we NEED the Stokke. His mum has commented that it's a lot of money to spend on a buggy, but I think if we can find it at a good price it will be worth it.

Do any of you have one and would you recommend it?

I really like that it's parent facing, it's high off the ground away from car exhausts and that the handle is quickly adjustable (I am 5'6 but DH is 6'4!).

Would really appreciate any comments, pro or con. My one worry is that I whinge on and get it, then hate it and lust after a cheap, light buggy. Since this is our first I don't have much experience.

Thanks a lot

Does anyone use the Stokke in more rural areas? Have you tried it on country walks? I'm really keen on it, but need it to work in the town and semi-country locations.

Please let me know your thoughts on this as we're really stuck on this point and it's the only thing holding us back from buying it. Thanks!

I live in a village with crap pavements and couldn't use the bassinet as DS kept bouncing around the carrycot in it, it has been much better since he went in the seat part, but I have to say I'm not getting a lot of use out of it.
Something with air filled tyres will make for a smoother ride and be easier to push for you, if it wasn't for the fact that I like possing with it I'd have sold mine a while back.

Thanks Mama that's really useful. On with the search!

Hi, following this with interest as about to purchase first pushchair... wanted to report that Lullaby's sadly are no longer a Stokke stockist. Apparently Stokke have reduced number of independent retailers in favour of getting in with Mama's and Papa's. But the very helpful lady did say she had sold tonnes of them.
On with the search for the best price then!

Choc you'll find back in action price match so you're better off going direct. I've now had my baby and love the stokke!
