Britax B smart 4? any opinions? Thanks!

Hi, I need to start thinking about buying a pram and given my requirements the britax b smart 4 seems to fit the bill! Does anyone own one? I've not even found a stockist nearby but boots online have a good deal on one. Anyone know how compact it folds and how sturdy it is? Any advice from current owners would be great! Thanks!

My two expectant friends have ordered the 3 wheels version from boots- they seem pleased. However I doubt it is compact

We bought a b-smart 4 last week from Kiddycare, had looked at a number of different systems and this one seemed to suit us best. Very happy with the clicking in and out of the different attachments (seat, car seat and pram top), the only thing is you can't fold it down with any of the attachments attached. Had a bit of a scare that it wouldn't go in the back of the car after we had bought it (Honda Jazz) but just a slight manoeuvre and it was in!

Our final reason for buying it was, it was £250 including cot top last week which saved us about £130

I have a B-Smart 4. :) Love it! You can fold it down with the seat in place, as long as it's facing forwards.

It fits in the back of my Fiesta, though I have to remove the big wheels. However that is very easy to do, so never been a problem.

The B-Smart is incredibly sturdy, I've not had any concerns about it holding together. However the pay off for that is that it is pretty heavy to lug around, so not a good choice for the frail. Feels light to push however and steers well, even with one hand.

Only fault I've found with it is that I find the 'single hand release' a bit of a lie. What actually happens is you require both hands and a foot in order to try and manhandle the car seat/safe sleeper from the frame. However I might have more trouble than others because I'm short and can't lift it absolutely vertically. DH (6 foot) finds it easier.

I bought one off eBay this week...BNIB as it was an unwanted gift as it was black...Unfortunately i'm going to have to sell it straight on as my DD isn't very keen on it...I was surprised how big it is, as it may occasionally be used on a bus by my parents i think it would be too big for them to handle...I was lovely to push around the house but sadly not for us.
