Pushchairs
Buy now or wait for a better offer? Need advice!

I want to get the Mothercare Spin. At the moment it has £70 off the green and orange model. I am not due until the end of January. Should I buy now, or do you think there might be a better offer in the January sales?

Try using code "JLK" at checkout and see if that give you an extra 10% off
It's hard to predict what offers there will be in January.
If that code doesn't work - do a web search (or look on the discount codes thread here at MN) for another code - there are often Mothercare 10% codes about and it saves a fair bit on the price of a pushchair!

Don't know about this particular model or Mothercare offers but I do recall reading some very good advice about buying prams etc too early. The point being that your consumer rights etc start running from the point you "accept" the goods. If you then get out the pushchair in Januaray and discover a fault when you start using it, you won't have quite the same clout in rejecting the goods.
This isn't a definite "no" of course - goods should be fit for purpose etc and a fault developing after only 3 months would still be a valid cause for complaint but it's something to bear in mind.
