Pushchairs
Are there any parent facing pushchairs that fold in one piece?
Thandeka · 11/10/2010 13:46
So fed up of taking the seat off the frame!

Hello! You were teased by the Combi like I was, weren't you?
You could look at these:
Babystyle Oyster.
Bugaboo Bee Plus (the lightest one I've managed to find)
Bebeconfort Loola
M&P Mylo
Possibly the following:
Bebeconfort Streety
Jane Solo R
Brio Go
Icoo Pii
There must be others. We are not well served in the UK, are we?

I soooo was!
I just brought the bebeconfort loola and don't seem to be able to fold it in parent facing mode but maybe I need more of a play with it! The woman I brought it off said it was a design fault that you needed to remove the seat to unfold/fold otherwise the handles won't lock properly- I suspect this is an issue with this specific pushchair- ah well it is much nicer than the quinny buzz monstrosity which am now selling on ebay!
I am sooo tempted by the bugaboo but it may lead to divorce!
Right will google the others.
:)

get yourself a bee plus. Worth every penny. You'll not look back. Speaking as a certified pram addict who has tried nearly every pram on the market.

I'm pleased with my M&P Skate (admittedly I'd much rather have a Bugaboo, but I'm quite a tight arse and will only buy second hand prams. Skates go for a much lower price on ebay than Bugaboos!)
maxybrown · 14/10/2010 17:13
You can fold the loola with the seat facing you. I know we did, defintely!
BertieBotts · 15/10/2010 18:44
I've got a loola up and can fold with the seat facing. Sometimes it's easier to recline it first, because it makes it easier to grab the handle bit.
BertieBotts · 15/10/2010 18:45
The handles don't lock when it folds though, do they? Is the Loola different to the Up in that regard?
Thandeka · 17/10/2010 08:15
The handles don't lock when you unfold it if the seat is in apparently- and woe betide you accidently press the release button while the seat is on- the handle slips and only way to lock it again is to take seat off.
Sigh. Can you unfold it without taking the seat off bertiebotts? I think if I have a play I can probably fold it with seat on but definitely can't unfold it which renders it useless if you have folded with seat on! (unless thats just a problem with my specific loola?)
Also anyone know how to change the height of the handles on the loola? (I know the loola up has the height adjustable bar- but I thought i read somewhere you could change the height of the loola handles a bit?)
