Has anyone got a Mamas and Papas Mylo?

Hi there, looking around for a pushchair... Have looked at the Mylo a few times now and really like it (apart from it being rather pricey) but can't find any reviews... Is there a mum out there who can tell me what its like? Is it worth it?

Thanks so much!!!

Hi Katrin,

I just wrote you a rather long post, which my computer appears to have eaten...

In summary, I love my mylo, particularly that it's easy to manoeuvre (e.g. in shops) but also works well in the park / on fairly rough tracks. Not so good for sand though! I also like the folding mechanism and the carry cot which is quite large and we have used it as a travel cot several times (with a different mattress).

Only niggle is the brake sometimes sticks on and requires a couple of goes to release.

We have only used the carry cot so far as DD is 14 weeks.

I also like the fact it is relatively high compared to a lot of other prams so DD is nearer me and further away from the exhaust pipes of cars.

Whether or not it's worth it...it's a similar price to bugaboo, icandy etc and when we compared it to those, we preferred the mylo. However, our second choice was a britax b-smart, which would have been much better value for money, but we just loved the mylo more.

They do seem to be very rare though, which could mean there's a major flaw that we haven't spotted yet...

Hope this helps a bit.

i ordered this but changed my mind at the last minute.

the only downside for me was that i would not have room to store the carrycot after the baby outgrows it. i didn't want to spend that much money on something i would need to get rid of after a few weeks.

loved the pram though. dp thought it looked like an office chair Confused

what colours are you looking at?

It does look a little like a chair. In fact, when we were deeply into pram investigation, I did catch myself eyeing up the office chairs and assessing their wheels etc, before realising that they were office chairs and not prams.

Smile thanks for your answers ladies... Yes indeed... seems to be rare... expensive too and not available used / second hand yet... not quite sure about colour yet either... Really not sure which one to get... Choice drives me mad... ;)
