I am looking at both on e-bay, would appreciate comments on which better. My DD is 4 months, and would like something which will last. Need it for general use, round shops, walking. Don't really do public transport. Have an estate car with big boot, so don't mind if doesn't fold down tiny.
Any comments welcome!!!!

TIA :)

I have a Maclaren Techno, and I love it,
have had it since DS1 was born (now 3.8) and now use it for DS2 who is 10mths and I also use a buggy board with it.

I loved that it was not too expensive but would last from birth until they no loner needed a pushchair. Plus it comes with a nice little raincover and an extendable hood so no need to buy loads of expensive extras. (I did however buy the footmuff)

it is very easy to put up and down and recline, it has good size wheels for rough ground (but not hard core off roading) and is very maneuverable around the shops.
DP and I are both quite tall so we like the extendable handles.

as it folds down to one piece it has been on aeroplanes numerous times and has never suffered badly from this

and although you say that you have a big boot, I have found it useful that the Maclaren can fold down small enough to fit into a Micra when they go out with my mum.

(I can't make any comments over the quinny as I have never used one)
