Donkey!! What a name!!

thisisyesterday · 16/09/2010 16:49

can the seat be rear-facing too? and can you have 2 seats on or just a seat and a carrycot?

5inthebed · 16/09/2010 18:29

I think you'd be able to use it just like any other Bugaboo. So either one seat, on carryot, two seats or two carrycots.

fugly, but I bet its superbly designed, pushes like a dream, is lightweight and will go for ever.
they really didnt do any market research on the name did they. Butterfly would be a better name as it transforms.....
even packhorse would be better than donkey!

GeekOfTheWeek · 16/09/2010 21:42

"so, what pram did you get?"

"Oh, we didn't just get any old pram, we got a donkey"

"Hmm"

Rockbird · 16/09/2010 21:44

The Bugaboo what??

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha :o They really are crap at naming things, aren't they? :o

SirBoobAlot · 16/09/2010 21:44

Donkey?! ROFL Grin

LetsHaveAnotherOne · 18/09/2010 00:03

seems quite clever (as you'd expect from bugaboo)....only the price tag could prevent this one from taking off!
I must admit I'm not sure of the look of that "side basket" but I'm sure it'd be useful nevertheless.
The "Donkey" name - well, I can see where they were going with that one.
"Sherpa" might have been better (except Mamas and Papas already used that name).
Donkey made me think it was a bit of a "joke" or "stupid" in some way. Hmm

Tweetinat · 18/09/2010 21:22

I heard on the Bugaboo FB page that you can't remove the basket when its in single mode btw... they replied to someone asking that very question... Bloody stupid if you ask me - what's going to happen to all the stuff in there if it rains?!

I think it is blooming brilliant. A fabulous piece of design and something well needed. Well done bugaboo- just wish i had had it 5 years and 3 kids ago!!!!! Finally a perfect buggy. One investment for the family. Done.
