m+p herbie? any good?

Hi - I'm in need of some advice.

I have just (rather impulsively) purchased a 2nd hand herbie in hot n bothered. It cost £100 and comes with carrycot, changing bag and everything - it's only been used 6 timmes - even the wheels are spotless.

Anyway I digress...:)

I just wondered what it's like, is the colourway suitable for a boy - my son is 8 weeks old.

How big is it when folded? Will it fit in my 2008 fiat grande punto?
Whats it like to push?
Will it fit in my fiat grande punto?

they are quite heavy to lift in and out of boot, but are nice to push. Basket is generous and handle height good. Seat is roomy length and width ways, as is carrycot. Good allrounder I would say and very nice to look at. Fabrics fade like hell though, so dont park it in the window!
Should fit in boot of punto but you will prob. have to take back wheels off.

I always had hot and bothered down for a girls colour, but it is red, so should be OK. The fabrics do come up second hand on ebay and go very cheap, so if it is too girly you could change it.
I loved the birdy play fabric, and the splishy splashy and nicey colours are amazing!

much appreciated - thank you!! The big issue was really whether it would fit in my modest sized car - seems like it should and doesn't sound like anymore hassle than the pramette.

We're going to collect it tomorrow!!

Sooo excited - I have a pliko pramette in famiglia at the moment and although I love it I really want a rear facing pram for when he's a little bigger - I also wanted to keep the colourway neutral for better resale value.
