Can you recommend me a pram for DC3? These are my criteria:

I want a proper comfy, lie flat, parent facing carrycot. This could be seperate or convertible, like a Pliko or similar.

I don't want to baby to outgrow the carrycot part by 6 weeks old - some look tiny.

It needs to take a buggy board for DS2.

I'm not too bothered how it performs as the baby gets older as I have a BJCM which I will probably revert to from 6 months ish.

I don't mind second hand but ideally I need to be able to buy one for about £100 off Ebay as I have money in my paypal account.

M&P Pliko's seem to tick most boxes but I'm concerned that the carrycot part may be too small.

Any ideas?

Silver Cross Linear Freeway is brilliant if you want sturdy with big carrycot area, don't need it to fold in one piece and don't mind it being on the heavy side (think it's around £13kg). My mate has a pliko and it's definitely lighter and less bulky but it's also not as solid and comfy as the linear freeway or as nice to push. My baby was very very comfortable in hers and fitted into the carrycot mode well into the latter half of her first year. (Think she probably still would @11 months but have passed it on to a friend expecting her 1st so can't check for you) They are well-made workhorses, so good to buy 2nd hand. Also not particularly fashionable so tend to be affordable. You can definitely pick them up on ebay for well under £100.

I second the Silver Cross Linear Freeway. Baby is just so comfy in them, my 5 mo dd always falls asleep. Great for winter and being all wrapped up out of the wind. Lovely to push, and some bargains to be had on ebay.

You can get the silvercross sleepover freeway which gives you a carrycot he/she can sleep in overnight and saves buying a moses basket.

M&P Skate? You can get them for a good price if you're lucky.

Is the pram part a decent size on the Skate, do you know?

Yes the pram bit on the skate is huge, if you go for one of the older ones they are really cheap and it does completely lay flat etc they are fab.

I think the newer one has a seperate carrycot and seat unit thingy but you don't need that.

The pram bit is huge as it changes to the seat part when the baby gets older. Really nice pram.
