Hi,

I'm a new mum and was wondering what do you pack/dress the carrycot when taking baby out ie sheets or lambswool .

I have the bugaboo chameleon. Is using the mattress enough?

thanks

I'm quite old fashioned but i always have a fitted or flat sheet on the mattress then a flat sheet and then the blankets with the top sheet then folded over the top to keep it all together iyswim?

At the moment i have a lambskin but as the weather gets cooler i'll change to sheets and blankets.
The mattress is suitable for overnight use so sheets alone would be fine, don't pad the mattress with blankets or anything like that in case of overheating.

you need somethign on top of the mattress to catch the sick

sheet is fine - a pillowcase is just the right size to slip the whole mattress inside, iyswim, and a lot cheaper than buying special pram-size sheets

then I just tuck blankets over the baby depending on temperature

Thanks very much for the advice. I'll give them a go.
