Repairing flagstones

We're living in a grade 2 listed building with flagstones in the kitchen, hall and sitting room. Some of the flagstones in the kitchen are quite broken and have been repaired over the years with cement etc (not a problem for listing because all done before the house was listed).

Does anyone know of any decent floor restorers (we're in Oxfordshire) and whether that sort of damage can be repaired? Is it the sort of thing a good builder could do?

Has anyone done it?

Have you tried contacting the SPAB directly for advice? Your CO might also have ideas.

I;d think that a general builder might do more harm than good - we're looking at specialists for repairing brickwork, and I'd imagine that flagstones are similar.
