any colour (paper?) suggestions for a teeny tiny (8'x10') south facing bedroom - lot of exposed beams on one side, very low ceiling and very small window

I'd love Tallow, it's such happy and light colour, makes me smile; would suit a small room as makes it look larger by the very brightness, without strong-in-your-face colour, IYKWIM.

ah thank you, nice, now I want that everywhere! looks like it would be very friendly to the lumpy bits of old wattle and daub that are hanging on to the walls for dear life

what would you/have you teamed it with?

(is surely just a matter of time before I ask mn to start wiping my bottom for me . . .)

Teamed it with as in ceiling/woodwork? I'd do all the woodwork and ceilings in the house, apart from beams if they are original, in a one of the F&B neutral whites.

yikes at idea would have unoriginal beams!

unfortunately some have already been painted, just exposed skinny studwork - am not going to strip them, is too much work for comfort and wall will probably collapse if anything more strenuous than gentle lick of paint is done to it - doors are stripped and nice though

am going to order the Tallow then, that's something was not expecting to tick off my to-do list so easily! thanks
