very low water pressure and mira shower

the last few weeks the water pressure in our flat has been very low, which means the shower is not working well at all: we have the choice of cold shower or scalding hot.
I am not a bath person at all and miss my shower in the mornings. and I don*t do cold showers.
does it mean that the shower is broken or is it normal that a mira shower cannot cope with low water pressure?

we had a shower pump installed to boost our water pressure.
Ours is a mira as well.

unfortunately we are renting, so we cant add anything.
if itt not better after the weekend we will let the agency know.
