Decorating - how much?

Can anyone give me a ballpark figure of how much they have paid to have a whole house decorated (or per room, I think some decorators charge like this)

It's a three bed, three storey townhouse (so high stairwell but otherwise pretty standard modern house) and just needs magnolia-ing throughout (including woodwork potentially), but I have no idea what to expect quote wise.

I've had a huge variety of quotes.

For example recently I paid £160 to have a small to medium sized galley kitchen painted (very high ceiling) and a medium sized sitting room. I paid for paint and thought this was an amazing quote.

I was also recently quoted £750 to have a hall, landing and stairs painted in a very small three bed house.
