... a stylish beanbag? My children are desperate for a gigantic beanbag after they had one in the holiday let we stayed in but can't find any that don't look like very cheap vinyl and/or are weird pointy shapes. Does anyone have any ideas?

A friend has a nice beanbag from here.

Good quality - no direct experience of buying from them though

Fatboy.

We love ours in lime-green. The material is funky rather than classy but also waterproof and fine outdoors as it just scrubs clean.

Hmm, I just want a blobby one, not one that is pretending to be a sofa or a chair or a footstool, more a sort of bean-filled amoeba made from nice fabric... anyone?

If you can make it yourself - bean bags one of the easiest things to make - then Ikea have some good fabric designs, many of which are heavy curtain type fabrics which are the most suitable types for bean bags. You will save loads as bean bags tend to be v. expensive for what they are ime.

I like the look of the fatboys but I don't like the feel of the material - but great for outside as you say.
