Do I need a damp proof membrane under my shed?

Probably a mad question to anyone who knows what they are doing

I am making my first foray into putting up a shed; we have a concrete base already but I wondered if we needed some sort of damp proof layer on top of it before putting the shed bearers / base on?

Thanks

you dont need to as long as you are not looking to use it as a home office or anything and even thenyou would need to put it between the bears and the shed not directly on the base. if its just a normal garden shed you need not waste any money on this.hope this helps
