SMEG retro flueless gas fire

Hi All
Has anyone had a SMEG gas fire fitted, or know anyone who has?

Do they look as cool in the brochures or a bit naff? I can't find a showroom near us that actually has one on display though they can all order them.

Any other comments/suggestions about the SMEG fires would be greatly appreciated.

Don't know anything about their fires but generally their appliances are known for their looks rather than their durability....

Thanks decorhate

Anyone else?

The flueless ones require permanent ventilation which means a big vent in your wall somewhere in the room.

I don't know anything about the SMEG fires themselves though. We went for an electric fire that just looked good but we never had on due to the whole vent issue.

Yeah, I agree with Decorhate....Faber Flueless Fires are well respected for their quality, I've heard. Plus, they look AMAZING!!!
