Surveys- do you get to see a copy?

My buyers surveyor came today to do a survey on my house. Do I automatically get to see a copy, can I request a copy or is it confidential to my buyers?

Surveyor was literally in and out of house in 5 mins so don't think he did a very thorough job but would be interested to know what he wrote....

We didnt see a copy of the one written on ours, but equally we didn't ask to.

I would be wary of asking to see it as they may interpret that as you expecting there to be a problem.

I was happy to pass on a copy of the survey that we had done to the people we were buying from. There were a few points raised that needed addressing and I wanted them to see that I wasn't making things up.

If your buyers come back with issues I don't see why you couldn't ask to see a copy, especially as they're normally emailed now in the first instance. If there are no issues though, it's probably not worth looking at
