1. Your joiner/builder/insert other tradesmen here is always the last dialled number in your phone.

1. You carry a tape measure in your handbag at all times, just in case.

1. When shopping in town you bypass shoe shops and immediately head for the home furnishings department.

1. Whilst watching TV instead of listening to what people are doing/saying you are thinking 'Ooh, I wonder where those curtains are from?'

Anyone got any others?! We moved in last Wednesday and I feel like my life has been taken over!

and you get a spare key cut for the joiner/builder/electrician.

and you start to stalk their wife to see if they really are going on holiday, or if he just has an easier job to do for a few days.

Not just moved in but just finished major building work to the house so I am at all of them.

I have just posted an anniversary card for my builder - I didn't even know him 6 months ago!
