Moving House - Mortgage Survey - your experience pls..

Accepted offer 8 weeks ago. Our buyers survey carried out 2.5 weeks ago. Found some cracks. So, week later, second survey carried out where the surveyor said cracks were "thermal warming" i.e. nothing to worry about. NOW - over 2 weeks later, NO MORTGAGE OFFER for her.
Am so worried. We've tried moving before, it didn't happen - not our fault. Am thinking it will go wrong again.
Our mortgage survey on house we wanted took place on a Fri - got result by Weds - so FOUR working days. Is this abnormally quick?!

Depends on who her mortgage is with - think some of the smaller mortgage providers are fussier than the larger companies. Our solicitor told us to go with one of the bigger ones if we wanted to move without too much hassle! We had our survey done last week and had offer within 3 days...

Thks MF. Ours was with a bigger mortgage company and got ours quick. Goodness knows who our buyer is using!
