Single bed for a 3 year old

Hi I am looking for a single truckle bed for my 3 year old DS. I like the look of this one from John Lewis & you pay extra for the truckle bed & also this one from Great Little Trading Comapny Obviously when you look at the prices of JL £790 via GLTC £575 the latter is the more applealing but from both shops you still need to purchase 2 mattresses for the bed/truckle.
Does anyon know where I can buy cheaper good quality truckle beds?

A friend of mine got a really nice one from Marks and Spencer. I think it is a similiar price as the GLTC though.

I want to get one for my ds so will be watching this thread.

We have this JL Barton one with a Broadway truckle underneath, both in natural beech finish, we did have the Broadway bed but it was not great and fell apart so JL replaced it.

We've just ordered
this
for our 3 year old, with a view to using it as spare beds for grandparents etc if necessary and 3 year old can camp on floor that night!
We haven't bought mattresses from them...I didn't like them, so will prob get some from ikea.

Thanks all.DH has now said we don't really need a truckle bed (grrr) so I think we are looking at just a single bed....for now!
