What was this estate agent thinking?

What on earth possessed the estate agent to take a photo of such a messy bedroom? Or perhaps the agent was bored and fancied a laugh?

Brilliant - I bet that one wasn't meant to be posted

Pootles2010 · 03/06/2010 12:42

Good lord - that would have taken five minutes to hide sort out all that junk! Quite nice rooms underneath it all as well!

TheGashlycrumbTinies · 03/06/2010 12:44

There are a couple of rooms that don't look too good. Can't believe the vendor okayed it.

thumbwitch · 03/06/2010 12:48

Teen junk hole, really should have at least made the bed!!

ant3nna · 03/06/2010 12:59

Knowing that area, I wonder if that is a house full of postgrads and those are the best pics the estate agent could get. Its a little out of the way of standard student area but its possible - my DP lived in a posh house as a postgrad because they could use the reception rooms as bedrooms and the rent worked out cheaper.

minipie · 03/06/2010 13:08

I bet this is tenanted. Tenants can be really arsey about letting agents and viewers in so maybe he didn't have time.

bubblerock · 03/06/2010 13:40

God, I clicked that link hoping it wasn't going to be my house!! lol

BigBadMummy · 03/06/2010 19:40

Call that messy? That is nothing compared to some of the photographs of houses rented out that I have taken in my time.

Looks positively "dressed" compared to some!

ruddynorah · 03/06/2010 19:44

oh that is funny !!!

does look like tenants. furniture doesn't 'match' the house.

HerHonesty · 03/06/2010 19:46

stewdent renters.

JackBauer · 03/06/2010 19:47

Highly likely to be tenants round there.
But that's not messy!

toccatanfudge · 03/06/2010 19:47

that's messy???? oh lord there's no hope for me then

mind - if I knew that photos were going to be posted on-line for the whole world to see I'd make more of an effort than that.

ruddynorah · 03/06/2010 19:48

wonder why they didn't just put exterior pics up and floorplans.

yomellamoHelly · 03/06/2010 21:44

Tenants in the house we're buying couldn't even get out of bed while we viewed their rooms let alone tidy up. (Was 10:30 am.)

Sidge · 03/06/2010 21:46

We went to view a house some years ago, the vendor was showing us round and led us into a pitch dark room (at lunchtime) with her naked teenage son sleeping in, sans covers!

ReshapeWhileDamp · 04/06/2010 17:38

Renters, for sure - the futon downstairs looks cheap in a detatched 5 bed house. When I put my old house on the market, it was being rented by students and I could NOT get them to tidy up their crap. The photos were appalling!
