We're thinking of moving to Leigh as I've recently got a job in Westcliff. Currently living in Upminster but getting more like inner London everyday ie lots of crime and area is becoming very shabby. Do any Mumsnetters currently live in Leigh?
Used to visit the area alot and in the past few years have noticed restaurants and art galleries springing up and houses seem to be much more affordable. People seem to be much friendlier than up here!
