Talk to me about those folding constantina doors

Thinking of having them in the kitchen extension. If you have them are you happy with them and do you have any good tips of where to buy them discounted?

If you're thinking of it for reasons of space you can get disappearing doors (not sure they're relaly called that. I just made it up.) but it's a sliding door that disappears into the wall - ie the wall, on one side of the door, is hollow. they're great - look like a proper door when shut, vanish, when open. much nicer than concertina ones.

Or are you thinking about the very expensive glass folding doors?

Or are you thinking of bifold doors? We have some in our kitchen and we love them. It's so nice (when the weather ever gets warm enough) to have the whole of the back of the house open. Great for parties too!

Can't give you any advice about where to buy, we inherited ours when we bought the house.

We have tri-folding doors in kitchen and sitting room. They open on to the garden. When it's warm, we can basically open up the whole wall!

Eye-wateringly expensive but you pay for what you get in my experience. The build quality is superb, the security is fantastic, the glass technology (keep heat in etc) is unbelieveably good.
