I need a very soft, dim light

I'm 37 weeks with DC2 and plan to breastfeed. With DS I had a lovely light from habitat - I think it was called a pebble lamp because it was opaque white glass and shaped like one, - and I would turn it on for the night feed and be able to read by it (it sat right behind my head on the headboard) but it was dim enough that DH was never disturbed by it. Anyhoo, fast forward 6 years and the damn thing is broken, and Habitat don't make it any more.

Anyone know where I can get hold of something similar please?

Normal lamp with a soft 15W bulb?

Habitat still have something that looks very like a pebble and uses a 7w bulb here. Is that similar to what you had?

We have one of those touch activated lamps like this which has 3 light settings, the lowest of which was dim enough not to disturb the other person but gave out enough light to breastfeed/read.

The habitat one would be perfect if it were just a bit less wide - I only have a small bedside table. The JL one looks good though, thanks for the link.

I used an autofade light - available from Blooming Marvellous/Jojo Maman Bebe - when bfing DS1 and DS2 - you can brighten and dim it by touching it or touch for it to fade over 5 minutes to nothing. Still use them in the boys bedrooms. Not particularly pretty looking but handily child resistant too.
