Can I sell my house in 6 weeks?

Seen a new build that I love, near great school and fab garden.
They do a 6 week fast track scheme whereby If I sell mine they pay the estate agency fees and save the property for me.
What do I need to do to sell mine quickly, how much below market value would shift it?

It's been valued at £130 - £135

Where are you now? That might be a key issue.

Expat is right.

I'm 10 miles outside Glasgow in a nice area, 2 houses in our street gone on the market - one offers over 110k, one offers over £240k - both sold within 2 weeks - first one for £115k, not sure about other one.

Good area but on a main road with no garden, well a small outdoor space (back yard).

In theory you probably could. The thing holding up sales at the moment is mortgages. We are in the easiest position buying our rental house with no chain but mortgage taking absolutely ages!!! Hopefully you'll get a cash buyer.

The new build isn't available till November so aslong as someone buys then no rush to move!

The builder is having you on - negotiate with him. I can't believe in this market a house which isn't going to be finished til November is going to get sold that quick. What are you going to do if you sell in 6 weeks - no one who buys is going to wait until November to complete so you'll have to rent. You will lose money on your sale if you rush to sell and then you'll have to rent aswell!

Our house sold in just under 3 weeks, although it will be just under 2 months from offer until we move (and we are moving into rented and the buyers have been staying with friends so smallest chain possible).

I agree that if you sell it and then the new house isn't ready until November you will have a problem though.

I will move into rented. There are only 4 houses left so they are selling quick.
