I'm not planning to set up a professional design business but I do quite a lot of renovation and restoration of property, rooms for B&B, and I'm about to do a big project (my own home, very exciting). I would like to purchase some of the professional tools that designers have, particularly the paint fans and albums.
However, these are quite expensive for me. Do you think that they're worth my money? Little Greene Paint Album, I'd love but £56.35, Paper & Paint Library £25, etc. I can't find them on ebay! I know it's important to get colour right and in the end it might be cheaper than a tonne of sample pots...
Also, are there any other professional tools that you find invaluable and that you think I could benefit from?
