We're in the process of getting quotes to replace the roof on our large single garage. The first quote we had for a 3-layer flat roof was £4600+VAT, which struck me as a heck of a lot of money, so I'm getting some more quotes now.
The first roofer said that we could either go for a corrugated roof (which is what there is at the mo), or a flat roof. He told my DH that the corrugated roof would be more expensive.
The third roofer who came said that we could do either toom but that corrugated would be cheaper. Waiting for his quote to come through now.
Does anybody know which of these is telling the truth, or is it not that straightforward?
Thanks!
