Hi ladies, hope you are all enjoying the sunshine one way or another!
I would like to hear from you on ways, tools, contraptions etc to keep my two DC safe from a a low bathroom window. How can i make sure they don't open it too wide to endanger them? something to sort of keep the window ajar? a kind've lock maybe? What kind of safety devices are there? I don't know any and was hoping someone out there would enlighten me!
Thanks a lot! I appreciate your wisdom and advice on this!

i have seen some kind of expanding grille thingies, but no idea where to buy... maybe google window grille?
Hopefully someone better informed will come along soon, because I could do with something for the dc's bedroom too.

I would like to know this too.

I think window restrictors might be what you need

A local locksmith company is going to fit some for me as they have to do a couple of window locks as well.

thanks a lot Meglet for sharing , but can't these restrictors be fitted by anyone? i mean do we have to call a locksmith? i did not get that part sorry
i get this vision of one of boys who love climbing leaning out the window and i shudder! so i am willing to try anything..so the more ideas the safer!

hehehe, we had the same problem!!! But, as we needed new windows anyway, we just opted for the double glazed ones that open from the top. Now, some very small toys can go on a fun little "slide" but baby is safe!
