traffic signal curtains from Mothercare

I have purchased the Traffic Signal Curtains from Mothercare for my little boy's bedroom that we are hopefully decorating over the next few weeks. I was going to paint his room green (as that's the colour he keeps requesting) to match the green on the curtains but am now thinking an apple white may be better. BTW the room is about 11'x11'. Do any of you have the sae curtains for your DS bedrooms? If so, what colour did you paint the walls? I NEED ideas please

Could you compromise and do three walls white and the fourth wall green (try to match the shade to the green on the curtains)

Then you could get some of those big wall stickers to put on the green wall. And when he gets older it won't be so babyish but will still look quite stylish and be easy to get accessories etc to match the green, like a green lamp etc, but you'll be able to use other colours too as the green won't be too overwhelming.

Thanks for the suggestion BB but my DS' bed will have to go on the back wall (where the door is) as that is the only place his bed will go b/c the radiator is too big. The window is to the left & fitted wardrobes along the wall to the right. Hope all this makes sense!! Am hoping to swap the radiator to a smaller one idc but not for a few years, & then I can put his bed againt the far wall
