Has anyone used the California Shutter co to order wooden shutters?

If so would you recommend them?

I have spoken to them (a few times!) and they do seem very good and are very helpful, but am feeling a bit nervous about ordering expensive shutters on-line where you can't see the quality etc, so would be good to hear from anyone who has used them, whether its good or bad experiences...

Thanks!

Anyone?
Am also looking at other companies, so any recommendations (or otherwise) would be great.
Thanks

I've heared of them but don't know what they are like. We originally used Hillarys but got such crap service and they didn't fit.

We used a local company in the end but he did say they all come from the same place in China.

I love them and they look fantastic.

When I had a problem with Hillarys someone said that I shouldn't use a company that I couldn't walk in their front door. I think this is good advice.

Yes I agree, would be good to use a local company but am having trouble finding anyone local who doesn't charge much more for very similar quality shutters, as you say they seem to be generally made in China, which is a shame, would much rather support local industry if possible...
