Anyone any experience of heat pumps or biomass boilers?

Just starting a new build and considering heating options. Has anyone installed a heat pump in their house or a biomass boiler and how is it working for you?

I would be interested to know about anyone with a biomass boiler - in particular a wood pellet boiler.
