I'm currently in Singapore, moving to Australia at the end of the year.
We're back to the UK in June and I'm looking for a few things to take back to Singapore to later ship to Oz (and yes I know they have shops here but the stuff in Singapore is expensive (think 700 pounds for a nice lamp) or not to my taste, and I want to have some stuff bought before we get to Oz).
I'm looking for:
(1) Capiz shades suitable for table lamps
(2) Battery operated table lamp for a hallway with no power. I've seen battery operated desk lamps but not table lamps.
Anyone seen any of these? Will be shopping with a 3 year old boy in tow so limited browsing time.
Also: energy saving lightbulbs - if a lamp says "max 60W" and the equivalent energy saving bulb is, say 14w, can I put in an energy saving bulb up to 60w e.g. 25w (if I can find one)?
