Oh bloody hell, our outhouse is quite literally collapsing

Title says it all!

Invited my dad to come round and investigate what was up with the ceiling of our outhouse (former farm stables, supposedly garage except that I wouldn't let anyone put a car in it or spend much time in it). Cautious investigation this morning shows that one of the massive beams has quite literally been eaten through by woodworm, collapsed onto the ceiling, which was then mainly held up by a bird feeder and a tin of slug pellets on a shelf. Meanwhile, a robin has popped her nest just below the collapsing ceiling.

The beam is temporarily held up by a wooden prop until the robin moves out...

well at least its your outhouse and not your house...

Oh yes, can't complain too much, especially as it would clearly have been a nasty accident if the ceiling had given way with anyone underneath. Plus in some ways it makes getting listed building consent easier - this is now not renovations, but emergency repairs!
