Due to complete on a house on Wednesday, hoping to exchange today. Four of us in chain first buyer is getting house bought by council , my solicitor has just rang to say they can't get hold of solicitor for first buyer. I am just concerned if the council may put a stop on the money because of election and wondered if anyone knew if that could happen this far down line. I am so stressed husband stuck in Spain and my house is all but packed up! TIA x
