new kitchen arrived!

It has just been delivered, including all my 'high value items' I am so excited to see it sitting in my Dining Room.

The fitter is coming on Monday to check it all and start ripping out the old kitchen and start fitting the new one.

I cant wait, finally I will have drawers in my kitchen - with a cutlery tray, an under counter fridge, a properly fitted kitchen of my choice... ooh the things that make me happy!

Off to choose some tiles later today, to see what i fancy and what is available.

How exciting for you. I lived with the crappiest of crappy kitchens for 4 years before our refurb - no room to swing a cat, appliances from God knows when, workspace the size of a postage stamp, bamboo arch, ffs!!!

Tis bliss now.

Excellent news.Like taffetacat,I put up with a many kitchen for over 4 years before managing to afford a new one.I love my new one and take great pleasure in looking at it.

I still get a buzz from my new(ish) kitchen! we had it fitted last autumn although due to a problem with the drawers it was only officially completed a month ago!

thanks - the old kitchen functioned, but it was hideous and badly fitted, we have waited 4 years for this kitchen and I cant wait.

Luckily we have enough room in the lounge for a kitchenette style unit so it has microwave, kettle, cups and cereal oh must put the toaster in this evening too. Just enough to feed the kids breakfast, heat up beans etc, no doubt we will be eating out a lot next week.

Finally getting somewhere with this house - bathrooms are done, kitchen next, just little bits now like decorating to go.

ooh my man is quick!

He has removed the skanky old tiles (not chosen by me) and the kitchen and the water is back on and pretty soon the new kitchen will start to go in. so soso so happy today, despite life chucking crap at me from all sides.

ooh I know how you feel - mine is coming on Thursday and they are working all weekend to get it fitted. This time next week......

I have een wiating a loooooong time for this so I'm beyone excited!

I phoned my friend who lives near me and said very proudly "By the end of the week I will have a cutlery drawer in my kitchen, instead of the dining room, an undercounter Fridge AND cupboards that fit/work and lots of storage"

She roared with laughter and said she never thought she would hear me say those words and be so excited about it!
